Grafton sees a jump in COVID-19 positive cases

Grafton is now green and, when it comes to COVID-19, green isn’t necessarily good.

The town saw a jump of six positive cases in the past 14 days, bringing the total of positives within the population to 110 since the start of the pandemic. This comes after a period where the COVID-19 rate was largely stable.

The state overall has seen an increase of 3,851 positive cases in the last 14 days for a total of 11,085 cases. In the towns around Grafton, the towns with growth under five cases include Millbury (229), Northbridge (330), Upton (28). “Green” towns include Shrewsbury (331) and Westborough (362). “Red” towns, indicating the highest level of new cases, are Sutton (68) and Worcester (5,792).

A total of 2,769 Massachusetts residents are currently under quarantine after positive test results.
