Art Bradish Snack Bar is ready to open Saturday — with restrictions

Is that the smell of frying onion rings and grilled hot dogs?

The beloved Art Bradish Snack Bar opens for the season Saturday, bringing the taste of summer to a Grafton battered by COVID-19 restrictions.

And naturally, not even Bradish’s, a Grafton institution since the 1930s, is immune. Gone are the leisurely picnics at the umbrella-shielded tables with runs to the stand for extra ketchup and napkins. It at least managed to maintain its traditional Memorial Day weekend opening.

Holly Bradish-Grieco, whose parents own the place, said on Facebook that Bradish’s is opening “with restrictions per the board of health. One window to order one to pick up. Six feet distancing and all customers need to wear masks as well as stay 6 feet apart. We can not have anyone sit at tables. Everything will be made to go. Eat in car or take with you!”
