Slide into ‘Grease’ this weekend at Grafton High

For the past two years, Grafton High School Theatre Director Lisa Scarlett has been hopelessly devoted to putting on the musical “Grease.”

She originally obtained the rights to put on the beloved ’50s musical, best known for its movie adaptation starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, for the spring of 2020.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic took center stage as rehearsals were underway, and the musical adventures of the T-Birds, Pink Ladies, fast cars, and an unlikely romantic couple went unsung.

Pull on your leather jackets and poodle skirts because it’s time to go back to high school — the curtains will rise on “Grease” this weekend.

Performances are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a matinee Sunday at Grafton High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door or online at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/62957
