Pups find parading in costume to be ‘Quite Fetching’

Dogs in hats.

Dogs dressed as bats.

An oinking pig.

A candy gig.

And thankfully, no cats.

Neither rain nor the opportunity for public embarrassment kept the canine crowd from coming out for Saturday’s costume contest and parade at the Quite Fetching Barkery and Pet Boutique, drawn by the promise of treats and praise for “good dogs.”

What the dogs didn’t realize was that they would be judged by the Quite Fetching staff, dressed for the occasion as the cast of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Winners will be announced on the store’s Facebook page.
