Project 351 ambassador is collecting gift cards for Grafton Food Bank

Dear Grafton Families,

My name is Liam Schaker and I am Grafton’s 2020 Project 351 Ambassador.

I am collecting Stop & Shop gift cards to help our Grafton Families in need through the Grafton Food Bank. This is my Fall Service for Project 351. I am working with Jessica Melo, Grafton Food Bank President.

Due to COVID-19, this is what they need most. If you would like to contribute a gift card, please mail to:Liam Schaker, 32 Fairlawn Street, North Grafton, MA 01536. Please include your name, as the Grafton Food Bank and I would like to send a thank you note. I will be collecting the gift cards from now through December 4.

I am wrapping up my year as the Grafton Ambassador, Project 351. For those of you who don’t know what Project 351 is I will tell you. Ten years ago, Governor Duval Patrick started this program to get the youths of Massachusetts involved in helping their communities. There are 351 towns/cities in Massachusetts. One eighth grade student gets selected a year. Your service starts January and ends in December of Freshman year.

I had the privilege of hearing the late, great John Lewis speak last January. He had a saying, “Get in good trouble”. Let’s get in some good trouble, necessary trouble by helping our Grafton families in need.

Thank you for your support.

Liam Schaker
