May the Fourth be with you as Grafton Library celebrates Star Wars Day

Visit, you must, the Grafton Public Library on May 4.

It will be no an ordinary Wednesday as patrons travel to long ago in a galaxy far, far away for the celebration of “Star Wars Day,” an all-ages celebration of the 1977 sci-fi classic that spawned prequels, sequels, television programs, books, comics, and even its own segment of Disney World.

Crafts, games and activities will run noon to 4 p.m., with a screening of “Star Wars: A New Hope” at 6:30 p.m.

The Friends of the Library will be raffling off Star Wars themed baskets, giving away Star Wars swag, and selling Star Wars book bundles. Proceeds benefit the Grafton Library.
