Against a background of colorful foliage — admittedly, on the ground after Halloween’s rain and wind — the Community Harvest Project celebrated another year feeding the hungry at the annual Harvest Home.
Hundreds turned out to sample food and beer, pet animals, and, of course shoot apples out of cannons and fling pumpkins from trebuchets.
