Grafton SEPAC is looking for ‘Everyday Heroes’

Do you know someone who should be recognized for going above and beyond helping students be included in the Grafton schools?

The Grafton Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Everyday Hero Awards, with nominations closing on Monday, April 25.

Individuals nominated would include people who:

  • Go above and beyond to support inclusion
  • Ease daily transitions
  • Keeps the student safe
  • Adapts the school curriculum
  • Supports unique learning styles
  • Facilitates peer relationships.

In the past, bus drivers, teachers, cafeteria workers, paraprofessionals, specials teachers (media, art, P.E., music), those in support positions, students, and community members have been nominated.

All nominated will receive awards on May 12 during the 6:30 p.m. ceremony on Google Meet.

A $20 nomination fee is requested; this fee is waived if the nominator is a Grafton Middle School or Grafton High School student. Checks can be made out to “Grafton SEPAC” or Venmo HKNADEAU13 with the comment “EDH.”
