Thursday is a snow day — no school, no trash pickup but plenty of plows

Gas up the snowblower, keep the trash off the curb, and turn off the kids’ alarms — Thursday’s snowstorm is bringing a true snow day to Grafton.

“Tomorrow will be a traditional snow day and no remote instruction will take place,” Superintendent of Schools Jay Cummings announced in an email to parents.

Up to 13 inches of snow is expected overnight from Wednesday into Thursday, with snow continuing through noon, according to the National Weather Service.

Curbside trash pickup on Thursday is canceled. Trash pickup will resume on Friday and continue into Saturday.
