Santa Claus won’t be coming to town Saturday

Santa Claus is cancelling Saturday’s annual tour through town on the back of a Grafton Fire Truck due to an expected snowstorm.

Rumors that Santa’s traveling companion, The Grinch, was responsible for the change in plans are unsubstantiated, although some pointed to his past effort to “steal Christmas.”

“He was saddened to learn of this news but promises to make next year’s visit extra special for the residents of Grafton,” the Friends of the Grafton Fire Department announced on Facebook.

The Grafton Fire Department hopes to welcome Santa Claus back to town in 2022.
