Rosati awarded Teamsters Local 25 scholarship

Teamsters Local 25 has awarded a scholarship to Zachary Rosati of South Grafton whose mother, Lisa Rosati, is a member who works for DHL.

Rosati is a recent Grafton High School graduate who will attend Worcester State University.

“We are proud to award these scholarships as a way to inspire youth to become our next leaders,” said Teamsters Local 25 President Thomas Mari. “It’s important that we invest in the education of the next generation.  These students have worked hard to maximize their high school education and we are proud to help launch their post-secondary education. Judging by the students who received our scholarships, the future looks bright and we can expect great things from the next generation.”

Scholarships worth $60,000 were awarded to 30 high school students during its May membership meeting. Teamsters Local 25 provides scholarships each year to children and grandchildren of union members.
