Nominations sought for Grafton SEPAC’s Everyday Hero Award

Not all heroes wear capes (Edna Mode wouldn’t approve, anyway). Some quietly step up and help make a difference in the lives of Grafton students with special needs.

The Grafton Special Education Parent Advisory Council has once again put out the call for nominations for the annual Everyday Hero Award, which this year will be held on May 13 via Zoom.

The prestigious award is for any individual who has made a significant contribution in enhancing the life of a Grafton student with special needs. This includes, but is not limited to, bus drivers, teachers, cafeteria workers, classroom aides, specials teachers (media, art, P.E., music), those in support positions, other students, and community employees.

Nomination forms (one form for each individual) can be downloaded from www.graftonps.org.  Nominations, and the requested $20 nomination fee, are due by Monday, April 5..  Scholarships are available.

Every person nominated will receive an award and will be honored at a virtual ceremony Thursday May 13, 6:30pm via Zoom.
