New Council on Aging director takes on Grafton Senior Center in August

The Select Board approved the hiring of Shannon Smith, who will take on the role of Council on Aging director on August 1.

Smith has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Services. Further, she is a Geriatric Certified Specialist and
holds many other senior related certifications.

Smith replaces Barbara Connelly, who retired at the start of the month, who worked at the Grafton Senior Center for nearly 15 years.
