Lottery opens for Grafton Recreation’s Summer Days sessions on March 19

For parents hoping to reserve a spot in Grafton Recreation’s popular Summer Days programs, there is only one question: do you feel lucky?

The six sessions, each with a different theme, will have limited enrollment due to COVID-19 restrictions. Parents may sign up March 19-21 for the sessions their child prefers, with attendees chosen by lottery on March 23. Each session will be chosen separately.

The full-day program is designed for ages 6-13 at the Millbury Street Elementary School, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children will rotate through a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, theme activities, and be heavily outdoor based.

Session 1: Aloha Summer, July 6-9

Session 2: Olympics Week, July 12-16

Session 3: Galaxy Week, July 19-23

Session 4: Candyland, July 26-30

Session 5: Superheroes, August 2-6

Session 6: Carnival Week, August 9-13

No field trips or trips to Silver Lake are planned. Weekly fee is $175/child.
