Letter: Flannery endorses Liora Bram for School Committee

I am writing to share my enthusiasm for Liora Bram’s campaign for School Committee.  I have known Liora since our children participated in a toddler playgroup together and then went on to attend preschool together at NGES.  As long as I have known her, she has been a tireless advocate for kids.

For years, even before she took on a Board role in Grafton’s SEPAC, she has been a source of advice and a sounding board for parents in our district whose children receive special education services. Her ability and willingness to study issues, learn about education law, and familiarize herself with the science and data behind different teaching methodologies is simply a benefit to all learners in the Grafton Public Schools.

Liora is equally dedicated to adapting her deep knowledge of teaching methodologies and learning styles to help parents and students who are typical and motivated learners. She is all about setting all of our students up for success, and understands that this might look different for every kid in our district.

She is fair, and willing to listen to all sides of an issue, while also being dedicated to her belief that every student and every family in Grafton matters.

Grafton’s schools and all of our families would be very well served by having Liora on our School Committee.  I encourage you to vote Liora Bram on May 17.

Respectfully,

Sharon M. Flannery
