Here comes the October Nor’easter!

Expect heavy winds and possible flooding starting Tuesday as an autumn nor’easter blasts the Grafton area.

In other words, remember those piles of leaves you raked last weekend? Expect to see even more of them on the ground once this storm is done.

The National Weather Service expects the peak of the storm to be Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, which will bring strong to damaging winds along with rising river waters and flooding.

Rain is expected to taper off by mid-Wednesday.
