Heavy winds, possible power outages, tornado warning as Isias storms through region
Tropical Storm Isias is expected to bring heavy rain, strong wind gusts and the potential for tornadoes to Central Massachusetts Tuesday.
The National Weather Service said there is a “moderate” risk for tornadoes, with a tornado watch issued until 9 p.m. Wind gusts are expected to be as strong as 40-50 mph, leading to downed trees and power outages. Heavy rain is expected through Wednesday.
