Harvest Home (Alone) auction starts Friday, benefits Community Harvest Project
Harvest Home (Alone) does not star Macauley Culkin running around the empty fields of the Community Harvest Project flinging pumpkins from the trebuchet.
That would be a little too ordinary for 2020.
Naturally, Harvest Home, Community Harvest’s annual fall festival, has morphed into a virtual fundraiser due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s now the Harvest Home (Alone) Auction, which opens live on Friday, September 25, with bidding open through October 2.
The auction will feature items from local businesses, artwork, virtual experiences and more, and will be paired with a closing broadcast that will highlight this season’s accomplishments.
Items include Patriot tickets for the 2021-2022 season, virtual and in person yoga passes, gift cards to the area’s best restaurants, unique art and handmade items, and more. Have an item you’d like to donate? Email maryhope@community-harvest.org to coordinate.

The link to the live auction will be posted later this week.
All proceeds from this event will support Community Harvest Project and its mission of providing fresh produce for hunger relief across Massachusetts.
