Grafton singer thrilled to be in ‘Voice’ Top 20

When “The Voice” airs this week and Grafton native Ricky Duran doesn’t perform, don’t be alarmed.

Duran, an early favorite after he made every judge turn their chairs at his audition, made it through the knockout rounds with his performance last week of the Black Crowes’ “She Talks to Angels.”

“Hey guys ! I’m so happy to be Top 20 on The Voice,” Duran posted on his Facebook fan page. “Going forward I’m going to need YOUR help. It’s all public voting from here on out. My next performance will be on NOV 11th LIVE on NATIONAL TV. SPREAD the WORD! Tell your friend’s mom’s cousin’s pet monkey to Download The Voice App and support your boy from Worcester county.”

Duran, a graduate of Grafton High School and the Berklee College of Music, is under the mentorship of Blake Shelton on the program.
