Grafton Memorial Day Parade returns on Monday

The Memorial Day Parade returns after a two year hiatus on Monday, touring the town’s military monuments before the traditional procession down North Street to Grafton Common.

The event is hosted by he Delisle-Goulet American Legion Post 92, which invites all veterans and active duty military men and women to join in alongside the American Legion and VFW members.

The schedule includes:

  • 7:30 AM  Old Farnumsville Cemetery, So. Grafton
  • 7:45 AM  Fairview Cemetery, So. Grafton
  • 8:00 AM  Sampson Square, So. Grafton
  • 8:15 AM  Wenc Square, So. Grafton
  • 8:30 AM  Riverside Cemetery. Grafton
  • 8:45 AM  Saint Phillips Cemetery, Grafton
  • 9:00 AM  Old Indian Cemetery, Grafton
  • 9:30 AM  Grafton State Hospital Cemetery
  • 9:45 AM  Pine Grove Cemetery, Grafton
  • 10:00 AM Washington Mills and Bridge Street, Water Ceremony
  • 10:15 AM Quinsigamond Corner Monument

The final leg of the Memorial Day Parade will line up at North Street School at 10:30 a.m., stepping off down North Street to Grafton Common at 11 a.m. A ceremony will be held at the monuments on the Common at noon.
