Gators earn their Thanksgiving dinners by beating Millbury, 35-7

There are some Thanksgiving traditions that can’t be broken: turkey and stuffing. Gravy and potatoes. And, in Grafton, the annual football rivalry against the Millbury High School Woolies.

The Grafton High School Gators defeated Millbury, 35-7, in a decisive home game that capped a winning season. It was the first Thanksgiving match since 2019 after the 2020 football season fell victim to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Gators ended the season 11-1, with the only loss occurring during last week’s Division 4 semifinal against Scituate High School.
