Faculty will hit the streets to say goodbye to Grafton High’s Class of 2020

Grafton High School teachers are missing their students and, on Saturday, they’re planning a special tribute to the Class of 2020.

Grafton High Principal Jim Pignataro said in an email that the school has been working with Grafton Police and parents on the Bon Voyage Committee to organize a safe event to support seniors.

“Our plan in working with the police department is to leave Grafton High School at 12 p.m. and then proceed to all of neighborhood schools (Millbury Street Elementary School, South Grafton Elementary School, North Street Elementary School and then North Grafton Elementary School),” Pignataro wrote. “We would like to have seniors and their families to be at one of the above locations and be  sure to follow all of the social and physical distancing guidelines that have been established.”

The faculty will have gifts for the seniors.

Once we arrive at the individual parking lots, we have some gifts for our seniors that we would like to give them!!!

“We want to have a safe event where seniors can be with their parents in separate locations that are large enough to accommodate people under the current safety guidelines,” Pignataro wrote.
