Does your teen need a summer job? Grafton Recreation is hiring!
Most parents think of Grafton Recreation’s summer programs as a place for their younger kids — but for high school and college students, they are the opportunity for summer jobs.
The Recreation Department is now seeking 14 and 15 year olds for the Counselor in Training Summer Days Program, which helps teens develop their leadership potential and give them an understanding of what is needed to be responsible for a group of children.
Those hired can choose 1-6 weeks between July 5 and August 8.
Apply online and interview for a CIT position on May 18 at 2:30 p.m. at the recreation office in the Grafton Municipal Center. For information, email recreation@grafton-ma.gov.
Grafton Recreation is also hiring lifeguards, water safety instructors, parking and snacker attendants and an assistant beach director for Silver Lake Beach. Full day counselors are also needed for the Summer Days program.
Silver Lake Beach will operate from June 18 – August 14, weather permitting, with a tentative schedule of Tuesday – Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.. Hours may be changed as needed based on staff availability.
Apply online at GraftonRec.com or email recreation@grafton-ma.gov.
