Brassard receives ICMA credential

Town Administrator Evan Brassard recently received the credentialed manager designation from ICMA, the International City/County Management Association.

Brassard, who previously served as Monson town administrator until starting in Grafton back in February, is one of more than 1,3000 local government management professionals credentialed through the IMCA Credentialing Program.

To receive the credential, a member must have significant experience as a senior management executive in local government, have earned a degree in public administration or a related field, and demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development.

“The entire Select Board is pleased with Mr. Brassard’s accomplishments,” Select Board Chair Peter Carlson said in a news release by ICMA. “We believe he will continue to use the skills and abilities which this designation represents to advance the goals of our community.”
