Colonel Sandurz: Prepare ship for light speed.
Dark Helmet: No, no, no, light speed is too slow.
Colonel Sandurz: Light speed, too slow?
Dark Helmet: Yes, we’re gonna have to go right to ludicrous speed.

— Spaceballs, 1987

Now playing at Grafton Middle School: “GMSHalls,” the tale of five swaggering middle school teachers who head to space to wish their students and colleagues the happiest of holidays.

Who are they? Round up the usual suspects.

Gerald Patraitis, Peter Singley, Peter Gleason, Erin Hernandez and Adam Tarczuk have once again taken to Photoshop to cast themselves in an ’80s movie, choosing Mel Brooks’ “Star Wars” parody, “Spaceballs,” to… um, parody.

The group unveiled their latest masterpiece on social media over the weekend, adding a much-needed humorous spin to end 2020.

The movie poster follows previous hits “Breakfast Club 2: Working Lunch,” as well as parodies of “The Goonies” and children’s supergroup The Wiggles (“Education is the fruit salad of life. Yummy, yummy.”)
