All of 2020 has led to this: It’s Election Day. Here’s where to go and when

This is it. This is not a drill. Election Day is here.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

Tuesday, November 3 — if you’re not one of the hundreds of Grafton residents who mailed in their ballots or voted early — polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. If you are still in line at 8 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote. Wear a mask and stay socially distanced.

Grafton students have the day off from school, so parking at the polls should not be an issue. Precincts 1, 2, and 3 vote at Grafton Middle School, while Precincts 4 and 5 vote at the Millbury Street Elementary School.

The big race on the ballot, of course, is for president, with incumbents Donald Trump and Michael Pence seeking a second term against former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris running as their Democratic opponents. Also on the ballot are Green Party candidates Howie Hawkins/Angela Nicole Walker and Libertarian candidates Jo Jorgensen/Spike Cohen.

Other races include:

Senator

Edward J. Markey, Democrat, incumbent
Kevin J. O’Connor, Republican

Congress

James McGovern, Democrat, incumbent
Tracy Lyn Lovvorn, Republican

State Senator

Michael Moore, Democrat, incumbent

State Representative

David Muradian, Republican, incumbent

Councillor

Paul DePalo, Democrat

Register of Probate

Stephanie Fattman, Republican, incumbent
