Behold: A calendar for a perfectly normal Grafton 2021-2022 school year

Here’s the most normal and basic discussion the Grafton School Committee has had in a year: the first day of the 2021-2022 school year will be Tuesday, August 31.

It’s hoped to be a normal year, with all the students in the classrooms, possibly everyone vaccinated against COVID-19. No social distancing. Possibly no masks. And likely no hybrid learning.

There will be five half-days, all on Wednesdays. December vacation begins on December 23. February vacation is February 21-25. Spring vacation is April 18-22.

If there are no snow days, the last day of school is June 15, 2022.
