Come meet the candidates for Grafton Select Board and Town Moderator. Virtually, of course.

The Grafton Democratic Town Committee is hosting an online meet and greet for Grafton Select Board and Town Moderator candidates June 4.

The 7 p.m. event will feature Select Board candidates Jennifer Thomas, Mathew Often, and Colleen Roy (incumbent Donna Stock has not responded to the invite) and Town Moderator candidates Bruce Spinney and Dan Concaugh.

The event replaces the committee’s usual meet and greet and, to date, is the only joint appearance scheduled for the candidates. The League of Women Voters has canceled its usual debate due to COVID-19 concerns.

Each candidate will be given the opportunity to address the entire audience, then split out into breakout rooms with single candidates. The rooms will be rotated every 10-15 minutes so each attendee will get a chance to chat with candidates in a small group setting.

Think of this as speed dating, with local politicians.
