Tropical Storm Isias knocks out power, brings down trees around Grafton
Tropical Storm Isias churned its way through Massachusetts Tuesday, leaving behind minor flooding, downed trees and homes without power.
Around Grafton, residents posted photos of the damage — trees and a power line down on North Street, a cherished family tree snapped on Pleasant Street.
Grafton Fire was kept busy with calls from residents whose smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors raised a protest after power failed. National Grid reported about 800 Grafton sites without power.
