Suspect charged with attempted murder after Grafton home invasion

A Framingham man was charged with attempted murder and other charges after a manhunt Sunday following an armed home invasion on Spring Hill Drive.

Tyler Milioto, 25, of 147 Old Connecticut Path, Framingham, was arrested Sunday in Boston, about seven hours after the home invasion was reported to Grafton Police and a multi-jurisdictional investigation began, Grafton Police Chief Normand Creapeau said in a media release.

Grafton officers responded to take custody and transport Milioto back to Grafton Police Headquarters. Milioto was subsequently booked and charged with Armed Home Invasion, Assault with Intent to Murder, Attempted Murder, Attempted A+B with a Dangerous Weapon, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building and Carrying a Firearm without a License.

On Monday, Milioto was arraigned during a video conference with Westboro District Court. He was ordered held without bail until Friday, June 23 when he will appear for a dangerousness hearing. 

Creapeau said the Grafton Police Department thanks the following police departments for their cooperation and assistance during this investigation: Boston Police, MA State Police, Framingham Police, Marlborough Police, Woburn Police, Waltham Police, Lexington Police, Belmont Police and Hampton, NH Police.
