Santa rides through Grafton NEXT weekend on a fire engine

A sled pulled by flying reindeer is a pretty sweet ride, but to get a little closer to his Grafton constituents, Santa Claus prefers to wave from a fire engine. But for the second weekend in a row, Santa has had to delay his ride due to bad weather in the forecast.

Next weekend, listen for a sirens. Chances are, if you hear them coming, you’re going to get a glimpse of Santa and his occasional companion, the Grinch.

The Grafton Fire Department will be driving the pair through South Grafton on Saturday and North Grafton on Sunday, 3-6 p.m. both days. Due to COVID-19, the truck will not be making any stops.

The hugs will have to stay virtual for now.
