Reporter’s Notebook: Mr. GHS returns; GHS boasts 10th ranked bowler in state
An honored, dignified tradition returns to Grafton High School Friday. Expect to see senior boys in tuxes, sporting feather boas, strutting in bathing suits, and lip-synching to The Music of Today.
That’s right. The forecast calls for the return of Mr. GHS, which was canceled, along with everything else, due to COVID-19 for the past two years. The senior class fundraiser will see eight boys take to the stage at 6:30 p.m. to gyrate to the screams of their classmates.
Who will take home the crown? Students in Grades 9-12 can see for themselves for the cost of $5 at the door.

Congratulations to the Grafton High School Bowling Team who made it to the state tournament on March 5. In the individual division on March 6, Dante O’Neill placed 7th overall and Thomas O’Neil placed 10th overall. Thomas finished the season as the #10 ranked bowler in the state.

If you’re planning your summer vacation now, here’s when you need to be home: Tuesday, August 30, aka, the first day of school.
The School Committee set the official 2022-2023 calendar last week. Expect half days in September, October, February, and March — all on Wednesdays. Indigenous People’s Day replaces Columbus Day in October. And the last day of school is June 14… if we get a year without snow days.
