Rally against gun violence set for Saturday at Grafton High School
Grafton Democrats will be rallying against gun violence Saturday morning, in conjunction with a national march in Washington, D.C. and rallies across the country.
The marches come in the wake of the deadly shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, which killed 19 third and fourth grade children and two teachers, and the racially motivated mass shooting at Tops Market in Buffalo, which killed 10.
“We will be standing out in front of Grafton High School in solidarity with March For Our Lives, who will be marching in DC and cities around the country. Bring your signs, bring your friends, bring your frustration with a broken political system,” the Grafton Democratic Town Committee wrote on Facebook. “Our elected officials need to do more, even the Democrats. Join us to help demand change.”
The rally will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
