Millbury Police seek clients scammed by local tree service

Millbury Police are warning locals of multiple complaints against a landscaper that has allegedly scammed customers out of money.

Warrants are out for the arrest of the owner of TR Landscaping, and he is also under investigation in neighboring states, Millbury Police said in a release. The same person is also advertising under “Millbury Tree Service,” which has had similar complaints.

The Better Business Bureau has also been fielding complaints about the business, writing on its website “BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning service and refund issues. Consumers report after giving the business deposits to perform work, the business does not return to complete the work they were contracted for. Consumers also report that upon reaching out to the business for service or a refund they are receiving no response.”
