Look! Actual pictures of ‘Dexter’ in Grafton!
We finally know a little about what “Dexter” was doing in Grafton back in May, when a film crew turned Chestnut Street into a wintery landscape.
Apparently, the titular serial killer was celebrating Christmas in an adorable fluffy Christmas sweater.
The revival of the Showtime series, now called “Dexter: New Blood,” spent a week in Grafton shooting scenes with star Michael C. Hall, with 3 Chestnut Street — both inside and out — serving as the home of a female character. Hall largely kept a low profile outside of the set, but at least one person managed to catch him in broad daylight.
The 10-episode limited series premieres on Showtime November 7. It was the latest — and most high-profile — film production to come to Grafton, which has hosted multiple projects.
The revival takes place 10 years after the events that happened in the “Dexter” finale. Dexter Morgan is still missing, presumed dead, after disappearing in the eye of Hurricane Laura. Dexter is now going by a new name and identity, living in the small town of Iron Lake, New York, when his killer side comes out of retirement.
