Hey adults — Grafton Recreation wants to keep you busy this spring

For many adults, their connection to Grafton Recreation’s programming consists of signing up their kids for activities and driving them there,

But Grafton Recreation isn’t just for kids — this spring, there are multiple options to keep adults active, social, and most importantly — out of the house.

Remember, when you were a kid, you would wander the neighborhood, grab some friends or friends of friends, and start up games depending on what kind of equipment was available? Grafton Recreation will be bringing a bunch of things to start up games for adults. Maybe you’ll make some new friends? Advance registration is required.
Bring the kids or meet up with other adults to learn about disc golf at Nelson Park. Session 1 is geared toward families, Session 2 is adults-only.
Take a hike! Or two! Hour hikes are planned for April 19 and May 17 for adults 18 and over. You need to pre-register, but it’s free!
It’s been two years of canceled road races — isn’t it time to get your running shoes on? The Grafton Gazebo Road Race makes its triumphant return at its new 5K length on May 14. If you do happen to have kids who can keep the pace, the field is open to both ages 18 and older and 17 and under. Register up until the morning of the race but remember — not only does it cost less to register in advance, but that also gives you the motivation to actually get out and train!
