Grafton Town Planner is finalist for Littleton job

Grafton Town Planner Joseph Laydon is the top candidate for assistant town administrator in Littleton and may be resigning next month.

Laydon confirmed the news to the Planning Board Monday night and in a brief phone interview with Grafton Common.

“Nothing has been finalized,” Laydon said, noting he is still undergoing a background check and needs to win approval from their Select Board on Dec. 2. “I’m in the wings. If I do get an appointment I will be formally resigning.”

The town has already started a search for Laydon’s replacement.
