Grafton restaurants can now offer beer or wine with your takeout order

Restaurants offering take-out are now authorized to sell malt beverages and wine for off-premises consumption during the COVID-19 state of emergency.

Alcoholic beverages may only be sold if the customer is purchasing food, according to the bill signed by Gov. Charlie Baker.

  • The MBTA and Keolis has made adjustments to the existing Reduced Service Schedule. These changes were made to provide earlier train options for passengers with essential travel needs, such as medical professionals. The changes took effect on Wednesday, March 25, and the complete Reduced Service Schedule, including these adjustments, is available at www.MBTA.com/coronavirus.
  • Grafton’s textile recycling program is currently suspended as a result of COVID-19. Please do not place pink bags at the curb for pickup. Regular trash and recycling pickup are still on schedule. 
  • The Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) is partnering with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Town of Swampscott to host a webinar on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist your business during this difficult time.
