Grafton celebrated Independence with a bang, police log says

COVID-19 canceled fireworks celebrations around the state for the Fourth of July, but as dogs, frightened kids and the Grafton Police log can attest, fireworks most definitely happened last week.

Overall, Grafton police investigated 33 fireworks complaints over the course of the week, with 23 complaints on July 4 along, starting at 1:30 p.m. and ending with a streak of complaints from 4:23 to 10:32 p.m.

No arrests or injuries were reported.
