Dexter causes very localized snowstorm on Chestnut Street

The forecast says there’s a chance of murder, or at least a chase scene, on Chestnut Street.

Snow now coats the lawn of 3 Chestnut Street, which will serve as the home of a character in the revival of “Dexter,” the Showtime series shooting in Grafton starting Monday.

Friend of Grafton Common Michelle Debatis passed on these photos from Saturday, as equipment trucks and crew continue to roll into town (have pictures? Send them to jennifer@graftoncommon.com)..

Chestnut Street will be closed to traffic during shooting, which will include night scenes.

“Dexter,” which last aired in 2013 after eight seasons, stars Michael C. Hall as the title character, a Miami forensic analyst who solves crimes by day and commits acts of murder by night. The 10-episode revival focuses on the character years later, in much colder climes.
