Day passes now available for Grafton residents at Silver Lake Beach

Starting this weekend, day passes are available for Grafton residents at Silver Lake Beach, which has had a gradual rollout as COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.

As of Friday, July 9, day passes are $12/car, $5/individuals and $3 for seniors. Proof of residency such as a license, vehicle registration or utility bill must be shown.

Season passes can be purchased online and picked up at the beach, or purchased in person at the beach during its hours of operation.

Hot food is now available at the snackbar and including popcorn chicken, pizza, French fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and fried dough. 

The beach will have a delayed opening of 1:30pm on Friday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 21.

Kayak rentals will begin July 16. 

The beach operates daily, weather-permitting, through August 15 and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m,. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Hours may be changed based on staff availability and programming. 

Outside of the hours of operation or when the beach is closed, swimming is not allowed and facilities will be closed. Parking is always prohibited along Rt. 140.
