Can Ricky Duran make ‘The Voice’ Final Four? Grafton is ready to vote!

For Ricky Duran, his performance Monday will determine whether he will be one of “The Voice” Final Four.

Luckily for Duran, it’s ’80s week. And his secret weapon can be described in just three words: Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Well, sort of.

“I’m sure you guys have heard a lot of SRV influence in my guitar playing,” he wrote on his Facebook page Sunday. “I used to lock myself in my room and transpose his solos note for note by ear. Not exaggerating when I say, I’m pretty sure I’ve listened every recording of his ever released. My favorite recording is his Live At The El Mocambo on VHS to get the full 80’s experience.

All right. Stevie Ray may be there only in spirit, but Duran will be partnering up with a fellow contestant for an ’80s number in addition to his solo performance.
