At long last, Wiltshire is officially Principal of the Year

North Street Elementary School staff and students already knew Stephen Wiltshire is one of the best principals around.

Now the school has the placard to make it official.

Monday morning, the Massachusetts School Administrators Association dropped by North Street for a brief ceremony to belatedly award Wiltshire with the title of Elementary Principal of the Year.

Wiltshire was recognized by the MSAA back in June, which he called “the highlight of my years as an educator.” With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home, the physical award was delayed until fall.

“Hopefully, once the pandemic has passed, Mr. Wiltshire will have the opportunity to be recognized at the national level along with the other recipients from across the country,” read an announcement on the North Street Elementary School’s Facebook page. “Thank you for all you do for us, Mr. Wiltshire! We wouldn’t be the amazing school we are without your tremendous leadership!”
