GHS Student Council will take the (brrrr!) Polar Plunge for Special Olympics
The forecast for March 5: beach weather.
The Grafton High School Student Council is once again braving the icy waters of Nantasket Beach for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge, which will fund inclusive experiences for more than 14,000 Special Olympics athletes and 15,000+ volunteers in Massachusetts.
This is a return to the beach for the GHS Student Council, which has participated in the event for many years. Last year, COVID-19 forced a virtual event, which required a commitment to “getting wet” rather than a run into the ocean.
