Do YOU want to help choose Grafton’s next town administrator?
While the Select Board is hopeful to have an interim town administrator in place by the end of the week, the real work will be done by a nine-member Town Administrator Screening Committee.
One of those members could be you.
Town Moderator Dan Concaugh s seeking three persons to serve on a nine-member Town Administrator Screening Committee. The charge of this committee will be to oversee and assist with the search/hiring process for a town administrator.
Grafton has been without a town administrator since July 31, when the Select Board and Tim McInerney signed a separation agreement ending his employment with the town after 11 years.
The makeup of the full committee will include:
- Select Board – One Member
- School Committee – One Member
- Planning Board – One Member
- Board of Library Trustees – One Member
- Finance Committee – Two Members
- Three At Large Members Appointed by the Town Moderator
The committee will interview the first round of candidates. They will submit to the Select Board a list of semi-finalists whio they believe are best suited to perform the duties of the Town Administrator. Complete charge available upon request by emailing bosgroup@grafton-ma.gov.
