Spraying for EEE starts in August for Grafton

The mosquito spraying is coming.

With Eastern Equine Encephalitis already showing up in Massachusetts mosquitos, the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project will be responding to residents’ concerns about mosquitos on August 6, 13, 20, 27 and September 3, weather permitting.

Grafton joined the Central Mass. Mosquito Control Project last year after the rare and potentially fatal mosquito-borne disease caused six deaths among 12 human cases in Massachusetts. Among them was a Grafton man,.
