Confirmed Grafton COVID-19 cases: 63

Grafton now has 63 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an uptick of 13 in just a week.

Three of the cases were reported on Thursday, with another three reported Wednesday, according to Department of Public Health data.

The combined medical facilities of Saint Vincent Hospital and UMass Memorial Health Care had 277 total COVID-positive in-patients and 118 total COVID-positive ICU patients as of Thursday. To date, their facilities have had 150 total COVID-related deaths. A total of 228 of their employees have tested positive for the virus.

In the state, there are 73,721 confirmed cases, 1,696 reported Thursday. There have been a total of 4,552 deaths, 132 reported Thursday.

In Worcester County, 7,197 confirmed cases were reported. The city of Worcester has reported 2,698 confirmed cases, an increase of 109 in one day. 

The Centers for Disease Control reports 1,219,066 confirmed cases in the United States, with 73,297 deaths.
