GCTV personality Rick Schultze dies after COVID-19 complications

South Grafton resident Richard Schultze, beloved as a host of multiple Grafton Community Television programs, died of complications from COVID-19 this weekend.
Though he garbed himself in the leather-clad shell of a biker, Schultze had a soft inner core of friendliness, jokes and stories.
GCTV manager Bob DeToma posted the news of Schultze’s death Sunday afternoon on the cable station’s Facebook page.
“It is my duty to report that that our friend and co-worker Rick Schultze has passed away due to complications of the COVID-19 virus. His wife Barbara shared the sad news with me just a while ago. Rick will be remembered for all the work he has done at Town Meeting, and Select Board meetings. Of course he’s also known as a member of the “Ask the Geezers” cast. Rick will missed by those who loved him.
Our prayers go out to him and his family. RIP.”
Schultze, alongside Bill Robidoux, hosted one of GCTV’s longest running programs, “Two Guys Who Like to Talk,” for 250 episodes, concluding the program in December 2011. He was also a host, with DeToma and Jim Gallagher, of “Ask the Geezers,” which matched “Two Guys” in longevity.
