Bring the kids to Octoberfest Saturday

Where can you find doughnut eating contests, hair feathers, basketball games, and an overwhelming variety of raffle baskets — alongside food trucks?

On Saturday, it’s Octoberfest at South Grafton Elementary School, 90 Main St. in South Grafton, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Octoberfest is an annual fundraiser that directly benefits the students at South Grafton Elementary and Millbury Street Schools.

This year, Octoberfest has new events such as 3v3 basketball games for students in second through sixth grade, hair feathers, pie-eating and donut eating contests. There are also inflatables, games, face painting, a cakewalk, balloons, crafts, and prizes.

New this year are food trucks with a variety of different options. Please note some food trucks are cash only. The PTO Food Table will also feature beverages, popcorn, cotton candy, soup, subs and more.

Raffle items include loge seats for the Bruins/Sabres, Jonas Brothers Concert tickets, an iPad, Bose products, a Nintendo Switch, an Xbox, Walt Disney World park hopper passes, and many more.
