Grafton COVID-19 cases now at 18; virus has killed 4,513 in U.S.
There are now 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Grafton.
Public health officials are informing individuals who may have come in contact with them about their risk of exposure, a release from the town noted.
The town has deployed nine bariatric cots to Southbridge Hospital to assist in their response to the pandemic.
As of Monday, there are 8,966 confirmed cases in the state, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported. Patients tested number 56,608, with 667 testing positive in Worcester County. One hundred and fifty-four people have died, three in Worcester County.
There are 213,144 cases reported in the United States, with 4,513 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
